depends on what you mean,

the quality of the picture wouldn’t be the same therefore i don’t think the picture would look as visually impressive.

then again, the actual picture, and what has been captured in whichever way would be the same, considering it has been taken by the same person, but with a normal camera i might not be able to capture the same contrast in light and the exaggeration in colour which would usually allow the picture to be in any way unique.

this would prevent me from being able to group that certain picture with the rest of the ones i have taken on an slr. 

so my answer would be yes, and no.
